Located on Saryan Street in the center of Yerevan the house-museum of the great painter Martiros Saryan was founded in 1967 during the artist's lifetime. The complex consists of the residential house where the master lived and the studio where he created his works. The museum's collection includes hundreds of Saryan's works ranging from early drawings to canvases from the last years of his life. Here you can see famous landscapes portraits and still lifes that reflect the bright light and colors of Armenia. It is a place where visitors can feel the master's presence and learn about the life and career of the most prominent figure in 20th-century Armenian fine arts.
