In one of Yerevan's most vibrant spots, on Abovyan Street, right next to the Moscow Cinema, stands the monument to the legendary chansonnier Charles Aznavour. This location was not chosen by chance; in a place where art, cinema, and urban tranquility converge, Aznavour’s presence has become an essential part of Yerevan's cultural identity.

The statue captures the Great Armenian with his characteristic energy and soulfulness. It was erected during the artist's lifetime as a symbol of gratitude for his invaluable contribution and lifelong devotion to his homeland. The square, which now bears his name, is a favorite destination for both locals and tourists. Here, you can experience a Parisian atmosphere in the very center of Yerevan, enjoy a coffee at nearby cafes, and admire the city’s timeless architecture.
