In recent years Armenia has become one of the most attractive destinations for gastro-tourism thanks to its millennial cuisine and organic products. Gastro-tours include not only tasting traditional dishes but also participating in the preparation process: visiting a "tonratun" to bake lavash exploring wine and brandy aging cellars and tasting local cheeses. Each region has its "calling card"—from Sevan trout to Syunik's kurkut and the wines of Vayots Dzor. Armenian hospitality and the culture formed around the dinner table become an unforgettable memory for every tourist.
